An illustration to "The Charnel God" by Clark Ashton Smith, ver. 2
This is great
наткнулся на него в группе по Мифологии Миров Лавкрафта ) как иллюстрацию к рассказу "погребенный с Фараонами" и ты знаешь , похоже и в правду))
Extremely awesome. I just started reading some of Clark Ashton Smith's works and I'm really excited to read more!
Thank you! He's an amazing writer, do that
Already have! Since my last comment I've been reading a lot more. I'm not sure if I like his writing better than H. P. Lovecraft or not, they're both great.
Agreed! I don't know who was a better writer, but HPL is more macabre and he was dead serious about it -- that's why I'm inclined to his side
True. Clark Ashton Smith has great atmosphere in his stories too. I've also been reading some of Robert E. Howard lately.
Great work, bravo ...
I read it a while ago and you capture the mood very well.

Thank you! There's a lot more (besides the stuff I've put up), but I'll post them a bit later.
Love the shading!
